GWENT GOLF UNION CODE OF CONDUCT
FOR ALL REPRESENTATIVE TEAM PLAYERS

2. The following amplify and define certain matters:
(i) The Match Captain of the day is the official representative of the Gwent Golf Union, and players are answerable to the Match
Captain.
(ii) The Match Captain is required to report to the Gwent Golf Union any player who fails to comply with this code or the Match Captains instructions. The player will be liable to disciplinary action, including future non-selection.
(iii) Good manners are expected at all times, and particularly so on the Golf Course and in the Golf Clubhouse of the host Club.
(iv) At all times players are expected to dress and behave in a manner appropriate to the honour of representing the Gwent Golf Union. County tie and Blazer must be worn when requested by the Gwent Golf Union or the Match Captain.
(v) At any time when the Gwent Golf Union is providing overnight accommodation for the player and unless the Match Captain has given permission, it is mandatory that the player is in the Hotel or other accommodation by 23:00 hours. Any breach of this requirement will be considered to be serious misconduct.
(vi) Players are required to advise the Match Captain in the event of their wishing to leave the main party at any time.
